
bibigo recognized as the representative Korean cuisine brand in China2014.04.03
CJ’s global brand bibigo was recognized as one of the most popular Korean restaurants in Beijing.
Beijing’s bibigo Restaurant was one of the restaurants selected as the best Korean restaurants of Beijing by the Beijing’s premier English monthly magazine, “The Beijinger,” in the “2014 Reader Restaurant Awards.”
“The Beijinger” is a monthly magazine that covers travel, dining, art, and culture in Beijing, and is one of the most prominent English magazines in Beijing, with more than 40,000 copies distributed each month.
This year marks the 11th “Reader Restaurant Awards” of “The Beijinger,” which started in 2004. The “2014 Reader Restaurant Awards” features the best restaurants of Beijing, as selected by the readers of the magazine via online poll, in more than 50 categories including “Best Fine Dining,” “Best Szechuan Cuisine,” and “Best Dim Sum Restaurant.”
Ten Korean restaurants in Beijing were included in the final poll for the “Best Korean Cuisine,” and bibigo was selected as the “Outstanding Korean Restaurant.” This is the second international recognition of bibigo’s value, following the inclusion of bibigo London at the “2014 Michelin Guide London.”
A representative of bibigo commented: “This award is especially meaningful to us because our customers helped to nominate us for the award” and “We will continue our efforts to create a truly global Korean cuisine brand, not only in China but also in other countries and eventually in the world.”
bibigo China was launched in 2010 alongside the launch of the bibigo brand and has four stores in Beijing.
